Este pana tenía mi edad. Que un intolerante racista te torture y te mate por simplemente ser como eres, me suena como la peor muerte.

Sylvia Likens was sixteen and her sister Jenny was fifteen in July of 1965, when they were entrusted to the care of a skinny, asthmatic, chain smoking - and as it turned out, psychotic - woman named Gertrude Baniszewski. Likens’ parents had offered Baniszewski $20 a week to let their girls live with her while they traveled with a carnival, operating a concession stand. Soon - and no one seems to know why - Baniszewski started to beat the girls, but then she focused her illogical rage on Sylvia. She also began to invite neighborhood kids, who hung out at Gertrude’s house, to beat and torture Sylvia as well. Some kids would practice judo on her, and some would put out their cigarettes on her skin. On at least one occasion, Gertrude put Sylvia in scalding hot water to “cleanse her of her sins.” For a time Sylvia was allowed to leave the house, but eventually she became a kidnapped victim and was locked in the cellar and fed minimal food. Baniszewski used a needle to carve the words “I am a prostitute” onto her stomach. On October 26, 1965, Sylvia died from brain swelling, internal bleeding, and shock. Baniszewski and the family members and neighbors who took part in the torture, kidnapping, and murder were tried and convicted of various degrees of crime. Sylvias parents were not charged. Her sister Jenny died in 2004 at the age of 54, and Baniszewski, who had been released from prison on parole in 1985, died of lung cancer in 1990.

Shortly after 10 am on 15 January 1947, Betty Bersinger was pushing her three-year-old daughter along Norton Avenue in the Leimert Park of Los Angeles not far from Holywood. There were many vacant blocks there because World War II had put a stop to a lot of housing development although the driveways leading from the roadway had been completed. As the pretty young housewife made her way to a shoe repair shop, she saw what appeared to be a mannequin dumped on the grass. The store dummy was bleached white, but the bottom haf of the torso appeared disconnected from the rest of her body. Both parts were facing upwards and there were flies buzzing around. On a closer inspection it wasn’t a mannequin at all-it was the body of a young woman, cut in half and completely drained of blood.

When police arrived, they found the body of a pretty young woman-her hair wet from the morning dew-lying face up. Her arms were lying above her head and her face was slashed. The lower part of her body had a number of knife marks and was missing some pubic hair. One of the woman’s feet was just a few centimetres from the footpath in clear view of the roadway. The murder was referred to as ‘The Black Dahlia’ the victim was named Elizabeth Short and the murderer was never found.

"Serial killers do, on a small scale, what governments do on a large one. They are products of the times… and these are bloodthirsty times. Even psychopaths have emotions… But then again, maybe they don’t”

“Killing is killing whether done for duty, profit, or fun

“We are all evil, in some form or another, are we not?”

amazing interview. i always love seeing what serial killers have to say. i really like listening to her speak…i don’t know. i watched a movie based on her the other day and yea i felt grossed out and shitty afterwards but…she knew what she wanted and she had very firm beliefs and ideas about how society works. and i respect that much. she was insane though, because she thought she was making the world a better place by killing those “rapists”. killing…is never sane. ahhh mixed mixed feelings.

Only one of the men she killed was a convicted rapist, though. So yes, she was a psychopath, and was also insane.

This young woman was murdered by her husband of a few years, they both worked on the same golfing range. The husband murdered her due to her sexual relationships with other women, he then began postmortum mutilation.  He stabbed golf tees into her face and stabbed her under her chin with a pen. He then shoved a kitchen knife inside her genitalia and pushed a golf ball inside her. X-rays show the knife and golf ball inside her genitalia.

“I have no regrets for what I’ve done, because I like meat and I’m not the only one. On December I shared the neighbor Manuel, who was a good person. And I thought, if he’s such a good person, he must taste really good. So I made some empanadas with his meat and I shared them  with some friends that at any time complimented the tastiness of the filling. Maybe now they think badly of me, but I did it with the best intentions in the world, how the church recommends, sharing your bread, well, in this case the good Manuel. But the thing is that I did the same with others that were as needed as I, and now I see myself a prisoner. I am by necessity got into this mess, for all that was stolen in this country, that have led to starvation of thousands of Venezuelans. But I don’t regret anything, because after all, the only thing I didn’t like were the heads. With the hands and feet, when I was hungrier, I made me soup with them and didn’t waste anything”
